Skurdu Biking

The centre of commerce, transportation and gateway to one of the world's mostf_cycling.jpg (17671 bytes) spectacular landscape and head quarter of Baltistan, remained part of great Tibetian empire from 727 ad till 1840 ad. The epics, folk songs, dances, music, palaces, Buddhist archaeological sites, rock inscriptions reminds the glorious past of this little Tibet or Baltistan. It is connected from Karakoram high way with 170 kms road which cling with the bank of river Indus. The most difficult road of the world during its construction. Here one will encounter the most exciting contrast of landscapes i.e. forests, rivers, lakes, glaciers, desert and highest mountains of the world. The most famous, lush green Shigar valley on eastern side surrounded by snow clad peaks and famous treks of k-2 and Hisper glacier begins from here. Deosai plateau, 56 km long and 40 km wide at the height of 3800m covered from July to September with multicolor wild flowers in full bloom

DAY 5 CYCLING TO SHIGAR VALLEY ON SINGLE DIRT ROAD, OVER NIGHT AT GHULABPUR IN CAMP.
DAY 6 CYCLING TO ARUNDO VALLEY AND ENJOY BATHING IN HOT WATER SPRING OVER NIGHT IN CAMP
DAY 7 CYCLING TO SHIGAR VIA K-2 TREK
DAY 8 REST DAY IN SKURDU
DAY 9 TO DEOSAI PLAINS BY JEEPS
